1. If You Have Documents You Want Ms. Marsh to See you MUST schedule at least 30 Minutes.: If I have a 1-2 page document, I understand that I must schedule at least 30 minutes ($199)* as the time that it takes to review documentation is deducted from the time spent discussing the matter during the telephone consultation. If I have a document that is 3 or more pages, I understand that I must first Email Ms. Marsh My Document(s) along with my question(s) so she can provide me with a fee quote as some larger documents can still be reviewed for $399, while others may be more.

2. When Ms. Marsh Will Call: I understand that after Ms. Marsh receives confirmation of my payment, she will telephone me ON THE SAME DAY I make the appointment, unless: (i) the time window I have selected has already begun in which case my telephone consult will take place the next day; or (ii) I requested a call on a different day by requesting such in the "Brief Description of Your Matter" section above. I further understand that when possible, Ms. Marsh will try to either call, or email, me with a shortened 1 hour time frame in which she will call.

3. Payment: I agree to pay $129 for up to 15 minutes, $199 for up to 30 minutes, or $399 for up to 1 hour (as I have selected) telephone consultation to discuss my matter over the phone with Melissa C. Marsh, a licensed California attorney, with 20+ years' experience. I further understand that: (a) my telephone consult will not take place until after Ms. Marsh receives confirmation of my payment, (b) the telephone consult does not obligate Ms. Marsh to continue to represent me in any litigated matter (e.g., in arbitration, court, or at an administrative hearing), (c) that Ms. Marsh's normal hourly rate is $500 and all billing is done in one quarter hour increments; and that (d) if I have submitted documents the time it takes Miss Marsh to review the documents will be deducted from the time scheduled for the telephone consult. By clicking the "I accept the above terms" and "Pay Now" below, I understand that I will be taken to PayPal's secure site through which I can remit payment through ANY MAJOR CREDIT CARD, OR my PayPal account.

4. Cancellations/Refunds: If after you remit payment, Ms. Marsh cannot reach you after two attempts, or you request a cancellation or refund before your consultation is held, Ms. Marsh will issue a refund less $10 for a 30 Minutes and $20 for 1 hour to cover the retained transaction fees, the blocked out time others could have used to schedule a consult, and the time it takes Ms. Marsh to process the refund.

5. "Opposing Side": I understand that for neighbor disputes, landlord-tenant matters, and employment claims, I must provide the name of my neighbor, the landlord/tenant(s) on the other side, or employer/employee as applicable so Ms. Marsh can perform a conflicts check and thereafter ensure she does not speak to the other side. If you do not provide the name of the opposing side, this will cause a delay as Ms. Marsh will require you to provide the information before the consultation begins.

If you prefer an in person meeting, an initial consultation is $500 and can be scheduled by calling 818-849-5206. We do NOT accept walk-ins. We do not accept payment over the phone, but we can make arrangements for payment to be remitted through Zelle.
