New California Protections For The Little Guy in Arbitration Proceedings

On September 25, 2016, Governor Jerry Brown signed Senate Bill 1007 into law. Senate Bill 1007, codified in Section 1282.5 of the California Code of Civil Procedure, provides new protections for the little guy (including consumers and employees) in arbitration proceedings. New California Bathroom Bill Effective March 1, 2017

Yes…that is right…we have a new bathroom bill. Like we don’t have enough regulations to comply with. Effective March 1, 2017, A.B. 1732, codified in the California Health and Safety Code, requires all businesses with a single-user bathroom to buy new signage designating the bathroom for use by all genders. Out Of State Employers Prohibited From Requiring CA Employees To Bring Claims in Another State

California's NEW Uniform Voidable Transactions Act
